What Remains
collagraph prints of found animal remains
2020-24
Using a collagraph-like printing process of inking and wiping, each of these prints are made directly from animal remains found on roads and sidewalks in and near Providence, RI. Roadkill is a link in the modern ecosystem, a consequence of human domination. Unsightly and uncomfortable, roadkill is not only evidence that death is all around us, but also that much of it is human-inflicted.
